Leesland Pool Project

FRIENDS OF LEESLAND SWIMMING POOL

We have set up a Friends of Leesland Swimming Pool (FOLSP) group to support the pool and the fund raising efforts needed to keep it up together. 

We would like to see representatives of all the stakeholders involved in the pool including staff, governors, parents, hirers, local businesses, St. Mary’s Parish, and anyone else who is interested and willing to be part of such an important facility.

Funding for our pool

Leesland pool is not funded by the local authority or central government which means that we have to fundraise for any large maintenance items.  Since 2015  we have raised over £145,000 and have paid for the new roof, new boiler, refurbished changing rooms, new pool covers, new pool liner, new internal doors and paneling. 

We are currently fundraising to upgrade the lighting over the main pool and for a new air heating system, both of which would help us with our carbon footprint and to become a little more energy efficient!

Advertising

We are about to offer opportunities for local businesses and organisations to advertise in our swimming pool area.  Please contact the school if you are interested in purchasing advertising space.   Get in touch via advertise@leeslandschools-fed.co.uk

Sponsorship

We are always on the lookout for future sponsorship.  Your sponsorship will help provide this facility with much needed support, as it benefits from community use as well during the week. Any future sponsorship will enable to keep this pool running.
