School Performance Tables 2017
At Leesland, we strive for every child to be success in their learning. The statutory national tests (SATs) that pupils sit at the end of each school are a part of this.
The government publish performance table, comparing the results of all schools with Key Stage Two SATs results.
We know that our children are not defined by their test result. Success is about much more than how they perform in a test on one day in May during Year 6. However, we are very proud of how well the children did in the 2017 SATs and how much progress they made during their time at Leesland.
When looking at 'overall performance', based on progress measures, Leesland pupils did rather well compared with other Hampshire schools:
64th out of 497 in Reading (above the national average)
4th out of 497 in Writing (significantly above the national average)
43rd out of 497 in Maths (above the national average)
