In Year 6, homework is slightly different and mainly takes the form of SATs revision. Parts of papers, SATs style questions and (by the end of the year) whole papers will be sent home so that children are as prepared as they can be for their tests. It also gives you an insight into the kinds of questions they face in their tests.
This is generally sent home each week depending on the task and we will keep this area updated to keep you well informed.
To help your child in maths, help them practise their times tables as these are essential for becoming fluent in and confident with the more complex methods used in year 6.
To help your child in English, ensure they are reading their reading books as much as possible and take time to question them on what they have read.
