Leesland Book Swap

We are pleased that book ‘Swap Shops’ for Leesland families is up and running in both schools.

It has been great to see families supporting our promotion of the love of reading.

Any child wishing to take part in the Infant Catch a Wave Reading Challenge can get more information from Mrs BT or their class teacher. 

We held two services, one in school where we shared as story and a song performed using sign language by one of our year 4 classes. 

We held a separate service at runways end and listened to one of our year 6 children play the last post on their trumpet. 

We have reflected on acts of remembrance and who we remember and why and made wreaths in classes and crosses in outdoor learning to show that we remember them.
