October Minutes
Christmas Drop Off

Our Leesland Leaders did a brilliant job dropping off all the generous donations from our school community. Rotary were very grateful to receive the 10 full boxes of gifts!
They also dropped off the Harvest collection to St Faiths foodbank.
We are all very proud of them!
Christmas Donations
Our Leesland Leaders were very busy today, sorting through everyone's generous donations. The children shared out the toys, colouring pencils, hats, scarves and lots more between the different donation boxes. Altogether, the children have organised ten boxes! Which they will be dropping off this Thursday to Rotary.
Mental Health Day - Respect
Our Leesland Leaders did a brilliant job in today's collective worship, promoting awareness for Mental Health Day, Thursday 10th October 2024. The infant school sat beautifully, listening to a story that describes the importance of respect, caring for others and celebrating diversity. Each child then created their own crown to celebrate their own individuality and encourage others to respect everyone in our community.
Christmas Collection
Our Leesland Leaders have collected their Christmas boxes and taken them back to their classrooms ready for the kind donations from their peers. They suggested different toys and activities that the children receiving the boxes may like. They liked the idea of...
- Lego
- Keyring
- Toy cars
- Pens and pencils.
- Small puzzles.
- Reading books.
The children also came up with the idea to send a letter to our grown ups.
